Tony & Tracey

Tony and Tracey’s are a retired couple with a shared love for travel.

During their road trip, Tony assumes many roles to keep their adventures running smoothly with his calm and laid-back personality. He becomes the (mostly) trusted navigator which keeps them moving in (mostly) the right direction most of the time. As the budget keeper, he ensures their expenses are categorized and tracked down to the penny. When it comes to household and van tasks he takes on the responsibilities of tire inflater, dish dryer, campsite “check-er-iner”, general troubleshooter, morale booster, bathroom cleaner and sanitation engineer. Lastly, Tony takes on all roles related to customer service and talking to strangers.

During their adventures, Tracey assumes the role of trip planner, researcher, electronic and technology troubleshooter and procurement specialist. Her detailed planning ensures that each destination they visit is thoroughly explored, leaving no hidden gems undiscovered. When it comes to the daily tasks of life on the road, Tracey transitions into the roles of driver, dishwasher, cook, photographer and blog post writer. It’s in the kitchen where her passion for culinary creativity shines, as she prepares meals for them to enjoy.

The road is not always smooth during their travels, but that is where all of the best memories and stories are created. Usually our next trip is already planned before we get home from the current trip.
